Avila Beach is a fantastic place for beach weddings! We love it there. Avila provides great weather most of the year — even when it’s foggy at other beaches, Avila usually shines. There’s also a terrific beach, pier and beach front shopping walk. Avila is stunning. It’s great for wedding photography. There’s much to work with, sunsets, warm light, pier posts, and rocky coastline. One of the many specials things about Avila is the Friday night fish farmer’s market. There’s food vendors (you have to try the fish tacos), fresh friut and veggies, and live music.

The Avila Beach Athletic Club is another terrific choice for a Wedding in Avila Beach. It’s inland, comfortably set in the hills leading in to the beach. There’s a lovely garden area for your reception and a spacious patio for your reception.

Kimberly & Chris found a fantastic spot for their engagement photography session, Heather Farm Park, in Walnut Creek. With the soft light and variety of spots we were able to get some really beautiful looks and great color. Daisy, quite the model, was a lot of fun to have on board.

Celebrate your love with a Valentines Day 2012 Photography session. Bryan and Brittany have been together for over year and thought it was time to mark this special day with a couples portrait session. We have a fun time in a hidden grove in the elfin forrest setting a scene for a romantic moment. Stay tuned for a really cool stop motion movie/slideshow of their photography session.

Jory had a plan. He and Cristen have a long distance relationship, but he knew she was the one. He knew he wanted to propose, to marry Cristen, and to be with her forever. We were to meet them at Old West Cinnamon Rolls, follow them, and be ready to snap some photos as he went down on one knee.
It was all set, but Cristen didn’t feel like a cinnamon roll and didn’t really feel like getting out early. Jory had to insist and, as we waited at Old West Cinnamon Rolls, the texts between he and us flew back and forth. After a Starbucks stop, Cristen finally agreed to a walk on the beach. And…

We headed to Baywood for a couples photography session with Ali and Cameron. Baywood is a hidden sleepy gem on the Central Coast that provided a variety of backgrounds and looks. Many, many opportunities for fun, close, Romantic photography. Ali and Cameron were fun to photograph; together, relaxed, and natural, they smiled, laughed and shared the romance of being close.

Kimmie and Stephen are awesome, and so was their wedding at the Jack House in San Luis Obispo. Fun, spontaneous, love in their eyes, they were easy to photograph. It was our first ever photographic wedding walk through downtown San Luis Obispo and the results were too cool . Thanks to the patrons at the window seat at the Frog and Peach for letting us take over for a spell. The Jack House, with it’s wide open lawn, central location, and historic backdrop makes a wonderful setting for a wedding and for Wedding photography.

Getting Hitched, Engagement Photography
Engagement portrait sessions are always fun — love is in the air, and the anticipation of the wedding is just beginning. We’re lucky, there’s so many fantastic locations on the central coast, wineries, the beach, the rocky coast, parks, rolling California hills… you can’t go wrong. Our sessions last about an hour and we’ll take and feel free to bring as many changes in looks you’d like.
After your engagement session we’ll make your photos ready to print and then we’ll send them to you so you’ll be able to print, share, and post them any way you like. Feel free to bring as many changes of clothes as you like and let us know if there’s anything special you’d like us to bring. Our goal during our sessions is to make you feel as comfortable and relaxed so the feeling you have for each other shines in the photo.
If you’d just like the Engagement Photo session, that’s great. Prices are the same as our for our portrait photography sessions. But if you do decide to have us be your wedding photographers (good choice!) and you get one of our full coverage packages, the engagement photos are on us. No Charge! Including the disc!

Central Coast Engagement Photography
Debbie and Sergio were married at Wilson Harding Golf Course in Los Angeles. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception, full of emotion and love — and the mariachis played Hava Negila. Absolutely a first.
Cathy and Arnold were married on the beach at the SeaVenture in Pismo Beach. It was a misty morning that turned into a stunning day. They brought family and friends together, some from across the country, as they exchanged vows. A great couple, they really know how to laugh together.

Ashley and Nick were married on a perfect Central Coast day in front of family and friends.
Cayucos Wedding
Kelly and Marc were married on the sand in Caycucos right beneath the pier. Then the party moved right up to the Vet’s Hall, which they had beautifully decorated by family and friends. They were great to photograph, always smiling and laughing. It was fun to get so many nature, relaxed photographs.
